Hello My Lovelies ❤️
This is my first chapter I don't know what I have written, but I have written it, if I have written something useless then please let me know 🤗
Author's Perspective
As the first rays of dawn illuminate the sacred land of Braj, the air is filled with an otherworldly calm. The misty veil that shrouds the Yamuna River gradually lifts, revealing the gentle lapping of the water against the ghats where devotees gather to worship and receive blessings. The air is filled with birds' sweet, melodic songs, punctuated by the occasional chime of temple bells, as the region's spiritual heartbeat begins to beat.
As the sun rises higher in the sky, pink and gold hues emerge, casting a divine glow across the landscape. The aroma of incense and fresh flowers pervades the air, mixing with the scent of milk and sweets brought from nearby temples. Braj's morning unfolds in this sacred setting as a symphony of sights, sounds, and scents, a truly transcendent experience that speaks to the heart and soul.
As the day dawns, the spirit of Lord Krishna, the divine prince of Braj, pervades the entire landscape. The trees, flowers, rivers, and temples all appear to be alive with his divine energy, inviting devotees to experience the bliss of spiritual awakening. Mornings in Braj are more than just physical awakenings; they are also spiritual rebirths.
A Krishna temple emits a melodious voice in such a sacred setting.
"RADHE, RADHE."
Shreedha stood in the sacred precincts of the Shri Krishna temple, her eyes closed, her palms clasped in reverence, and her heart filled with devotion. The soft glow of the diyas, the sweet fragrance of the tulsi, and the melodious strains of the bhajans all helped to transport her to a state of spiritual bliss. As she opened her blue eyes, the divine prince Krishna's radiant smile appeared from the sanctum, instilling her with unwavering peace and purpose. Shreedha was a humble temple sevak who was committed to serving the Lord and His devotees with unwavering love and devotion.
"Radhe Radhe, Shreedha." Purohit ji greets her back and offers her parshad.
She ate after chanting some mantras with the Parshad. But she was still mumbling something to herself. The priest glances at her and inquires.
"What happened to you, Laado??"
"Ask your Thakur ji, .." She said, pointing to Krishana.
(Thakur ji - Krishna ji )
"What has Thakur ji done now?" Pandit ji said this with a chuckle.
"Kese vichitra prani bheje hai inhone is dharati par," she complained
( What strange creature have they sent to this earth )
"Oh, samjh gya... phir se kisi ne tumhari shaadi ki baat kri hai Na?" Pandit ji asked her.
( Oh, I understood... Has someone talked to you about your marriage again? )
Purohit ji, main 27 ki naa Ho Gai ki koi paap ho gya. Matlb, mere papa ko koi preshani nahi hai, meri shadi se, lekin in ke bheje kuch vichitr paraniyon ko pta nahi kya aafat aa rakhi hai... jab dekho tab beta shadi kab kr rhi ho?? Itni badi ho gyi ho? Tumahri, umar ki ldkiyo ki shadi ho gyi hai... pta nahi kya kya bolte rhate hai." She begins to air her grievances.
( Priest ji, I am not 27 yet, that someone has committed a sin. My father doesn't have any problems with my marriage but some weird creatures have some huge problems with my marriage always when are you getting married? Are you so old? Girls of your age have got married... I do not know what all they keep saying.")
To tum thakur ji se aisa jeevansathi maango jiske Dil main prem ho.. or us prem main sirf or sirf tum ho.. jitna pyaar tum apne Govind se krti ho utna hi pyaar vo tumse kare" Purohit ji said ,while blessing her with love on his head.
(Govind - Krishna)
( So you ask Thakur ji for such a life partner who has love in his heart.. and in that love there is only and only you.. he should love you as much as you love your Govind.)
"Rahne dijiye Purohit ji kyu standard high kar rhe hai... or main bhala kyu mangu inse kuch inhe nahi pta ki inki sakhi ko kis cheez ki awashyakta hai... ye bhi koi batane ki baat hai inhe." She expresses mild anger.
( Let it be Purohit ji , why are you raising my standards... and why should I ask him, he does not know what his Sakhi needs... is this even something to be told.)
"Ab tum jano, tumahre govind jaane
Mujhe beech main mat fasao.," Purohit ji states that while spreading Aarti positivity here and there
( Now you know, your Govind knows
Don't involve me in this )
"Aapko pata Hai Purohit ji, maine is baar 16 Somwar ke vrat rakhe the".
She said that with little enthusiasm.
( You know, priest ji, this time I kept fasts on 16 Mondays)
"Han han pata hai, jismein tumne aakhri vrat ke din choco lava cake bhi khaya tha." He teased her.
(Yes yes I know, in which you also ate choco lava cake on the last fast day.)
"Haan to vrat ke din meetha kha sakte hai hum..." She claimed to defend her statement.
(Yes, we can eat sweets on fasting days)
"Achha accha." The priest said in a humorous manner.
"Aap na apne Thakur ji ka hi sath dijiye main na ja rahi hun." Saying this she is about to leave from there.
( You should accompany your Thakurji only, I am going.)
"Thakur ji, ne tumhare liye Behtar hi chunna hoga." Purohit ji approached her from behind.
( Thakurji must have chosen something better for you )
She proudly stated, "Mere Govind ne mere liye behtar nahi behtareen chunna hogaa," without looking back.
( My Govind must choose the best for me, not the better)
Gauri Gopal Anathashram
Nestled in the sacred city of Vrindavan, the Orphanage stood as a beacon of hope for the youngest and most vulnerable. This sanctuary, dedicated to the care and nurturing of orphaned and abandoned children, radiated warmth and compassion.
As you stepped through the ashram's gates, the sounds of laughter and playful chatter filled the air, mingling with the sweet scent of incense and the soft chanting of mantras. The ashram's buildings, adorned with vibrant murals depicting the divine love of Radha and Krishna, seemed to whisper promises of a brighter future.
Inside, the children's dormitories were tidy and cozy, with colorful quilts and stuffed toys adding a touch of warmth and personality to each bed. The ashram's caretakers, with their gentle hands and loving smiles, moved about with a sense of purpose, tending to the needs of their young wards.
In the ashram's courtyard, a small garden bloomed, its flowers and trees tended by the children themselves. A swing hung from a sturdy branch, its ropes worn from countless hours of laughter and play. This was a place where childhood was cherished, where dreams were nurtured, and where hope was rekindled.
"Okay, kids, your favorite teacher is just arriving," a middle-aged lady told to the children sitting on the benches. Students experience happiness on a deeper level.
"Yeahhhh... Haseena Madam.... " they all screamed together when they saw their favorite arts teacher, who was looking at them with joyous eyes.
"Today is our art period, so are you all ready for that? " she asked them happily.
They screamed, "Yessssss Haseena Madam."
"Okay, today we will do a watercolor painting". She captivated them with joy as she created a beautiful picture of Lord Krishna on a drawing sheet, and the children followed her step-by-step instructions.
"Miss mele se nahi bn laha haii.. " a small kid took his sheet to her.
"Koi baat nahi baccha I am here for you.". She sat with him on his bench and taught him step by step.
"Miss I am not able to do it either." Another child came and said to her
"But Madhav... you have great drawing... baccha.." she said to him
"No Miss, my drawing is not good, you come to my seat and explain it to me in the same way." He said to her in a complaining tone glare boy who asked her before . His level of jeously was clearly visible in his words.
She takes a deep breath and goes to his seat and starts explaining to him too.
Following that, she instructs all of the children on how to color them. She was teaching all of the children with love and dedication, answering all of their questions, and the children were having a great time with her. After all she is their favorite teacher.
She himself had made a very beautiful painting

The owner of that orphanage is standing at the door and watching her. How she has mingled with all those children like a child. Then she looked at the painting she had created; there was no doubt that she was an excellent artist.
Shreedha looks at her and smiles gently. She approaches her and takes a child's painting out of his hand.
" Adbhut!!!!" is the only word that comes out of her mouth
(Beautiful)
"This is made by Madhav," Shreedha said, ruining Madhav's hair.
"When he has the best art teacher in the world, he should be able to create an excellent painting." She said this while looking at Shreedha.
"There is nothing quite like that, ma'am." She said this as she checked the sheets of the other children.
"Beta, why are you not listening to me? You are an excellent artist. Your talent is greatly appreciated. Explore the world. I believe you will have a successful career as a painter. Make a name for yourself in your art, develop your identity. But you will have to leave here." She said this as she consoled him.
"Ma'am, I am not as talented an artist as you believe. There are many better artists around than me." She replied to her.
"Shreedha, I believe you are there. You only need to polish yourself. You are a rising artist, and I am confident that you will become a great one. And as far as being a better artist than you are concerned, I know this is just your excuse. The fact is that you do not want to leave here. Beta, I only want the best for you. " As she says this, she begins to check the children's copies.
" No, there is nothing like this, ma'am." She spoke while keeping her secret, but her words revealed that she had been caught stealing.
Then someone pulls her dupatta from behind. When she looks back, Madhav is pulling her dupatta.
"You are going to leave us, Haseena Ma'am," he said with puppy eyes.
She sat down on her knees, took his face in her hands, and said, "No, Baccha, who told you?"
"I know you are great and great people go to great places. You will also go but I want to tell you that you don't forget me and wait for me to grow up. Beacuse I am Krishna, and you are my Radha," he said with a shy smile.
"Hain??" Both of them spoke with a questioning expression.
"Offo Haseema Ma'am you are really Buddhu. Your name means Radha, and mine means Krishna." He said chukkling while putting his hand on his mouth Hearing this, both of their faces light up with joy.
" There are other Krishnas also in this world, who knows they might take away your Haseena Ma'am. Do you know how Krishna got married? He abducted his wife? What if anybody takes away your Haseena Ma'am like krishna??" The owner said while pulling her cheeks.
"Haseena Ma'am!!" He looks at Shreedha with a tearful expression.
"Promise, my baccha. I am never going to forget you.You all are so precious to me..." She said this as she hugged him. All of their faces lit up with a sweet smile...
While returning home a woman stops him from behind
"Shreedha... Lalli, ye lo mithai khao.. she offered her ladoos.
( Shreedha... Lalli, eat sweets.)
"Kis Khushi main kaki?" She questioned her while taking the laddu
( in which happiness kaki )
"Are Priya hai na meri betii vo maa banane wali hai hai..." she said it with extra joy.
(My daughter Priya is going to be a mother.)
"Ohh , vahi naa jiski 2 mahine pahle shadi huyi thi??." She asked her
(Ohh, the same one who got married 2 months ago??)
"Haa lalli, vahii main tumhe bta nahi skti ki maiñ kitni khush hu.. lo ek or khao," she offered her another laddo.
(Yes Lalli, I cannot tell you how happy I am..)
But she lost her own terrible thoughts.
"Maiyaa Mori. Shadi naam ki bala kam hai kya? Jo bachhaa... or bacha to sec... Nahi nahi, ye kya soch rahi hai tuu... par sach to yhi haii ki bachha usi tareeke se hota hai. Khan mar gyi thi ye humanity 6th se?? 11th se akar lo.. hum jese masoom baccho ko begad ke rakh diya.. hamara "bhagwan ji dekhr jaate hai baccho ko" wala concept thik tha bacho ko lekr... Main sachi bta rhi hu mujhe shadi se dar nahi lgta parr usasee... Nahi nahi main nahi krne wali hu Aisa vesa kuchh. Main apne unse bol dungi ki main aapka sara kaam krungi, Bartan, Kapde, khana, sab kuch parr vo nahi krungi mainnn.. mujhe dar lgta hai .."
"Where have you lost Lalli ??" Her sound hits her eardrum, and she breaks free from her thoughts.
"No.... Nothing, Kaki. I am just..." Another woman's voice can also be heard there.
"Kis baat ki mithai banti ja rahi hai?" A middle-aged woman appears there.
(What kind of sweets are being distributed?)
Aa gyi ye abb... Govind m bata rahi hun aapko ab ki baar inhone ne kuch ant shant kaha na meri shadi ke baare main.. sachi bata rahi hu main inhe ganji hone ka shraap de dungi.. aap hi bachna phir inhe mere kroodh se.. Shreedha narrowed her eyes as she thought.
(Ah yes now she comes... Govind, I am telling you that now she did say any bullshit about my marriage.. I am telling you the truth, I will curse him for being impotent... you only should save him from my anger...)
"Are bhabhi ye lijiye aap bhi khaye. Bhabhi Meri Priya Maa, banane wali hai." She also offered her.
(Hey Bhabhi, take it. my Priya is going to become a mother.")
Are ye to badi khushi ki baat hai.. She said this as she took a ladoo.
(Oh, this is a very happy thing)
"Ladkiyo ki shadi time se ho jani chahiye, phir itni jimmedariya bhi hoti hai." At that point Shreedha had to leave from there But before this the woman interrupted her and said
(Girls should get married on time, then there are so many responsibilities on her)
"Lalli tum kab kar rahi ho, shadi 29 ki ho gyi ho sayad." She stated this while eating laddu.
(Lalli tum kab kar rahi ho, shadi 29 ki ho gyi ho sayad)
"27 ki huyi hu, sirf abhi" Shreedha interrupted her. Her words were marked by a hint of anger.
(I am 27, only)
"Aree kya fark pdta hai, lalli saal kese gujar jaate hai, pta hi nahi chalta." She said with a pale smile
(What difference does it make, Lalli, I don't even realize how the years pass by)
Shraddha also gives him a forced smile.
"Laali, get married as soon as possible, you are getting old. And you are not doing any such educational courses. And think about Mr. Rathore too, the burden on his head will also be reduced. How much a father worries about his unmarried girl. Or your mother is also not in this world." she said further.
Shreedha nooded But her eyes were filled with tears. She leaves from there in a hurry.
Till today everyone used to talk about her marriage but today she felt very bad to hear this. She was coming towards her house with a heavy heart and the words said by that woman were still echoing in her mind.
"Burden..?? Am I really a burden on my father?" she mumbled to herself
She arrived at her beautiful home, which was neither too large nor too small. She went straight inside, kept her bag, and sat on the sofa with her legs shrinking ; and rested her chin on her knees , the same thing was still going on in her mind. She was immersed in her own thoughts.
"Gudiya, you are late in coming today," a man's voice came from the kitchen.
Shreedha does not respond to his words. Just then a man comes out of the kitchen
Rt.Captain Adarsh Singh Rathore was a tall, fit man who exuded authority. His personality reflects his profession; he was an excellent naval officer. His broad shoulders and strong features made him appear younger than his age. His warm eyes were filled with kindness, revealing his gentle side.
He sat next to her and put his hand on her shoulder. She quickly puts her head in his lap.
"What happened to Gudiya??" he asked her in his concerned voice
"Stay like this for a while papa.." she said and He starts caressing her head lovingly.
"Can I ask you something?? She said lying down in this manner. He hummed softly
"Am I a burden on you??" she asked him.
His hands had stopped moving over his head.
"And who told you this?" he asked.
"I am just asking Papa," she said, concealing the moisture in her eyes.
"Look, my bacha, children are never a burden on their parents; they are an integral part of their lives. Their children's happiness is always their top priority." He made her stand up from his lap and cupped her cheeks.
"But Papa..." before that, he interrupted her and said, "Whoever said this to you does not understand the value of parenting, children are gifts of god.. and you are reflective of my love. You are the reason for my survival. And As for your marriage so you tell me you want to marry?"
" To be honest, Papa, I would never want to leave you." She said in tearful words
"Then nobody can take my Gudiya away from me." He said this while kissing her forehead.
" What happens if I never marry in my entire life, Papa?" She inquired
"So, My Lado Rani, your father is capable of keeping you with him for the rest of your life." He said this while tickling her.
"Main apana Pasandida Mard khud dhundhungi," she said proudly, wiping away tears.
(I will find my favorite man myself.")
"Acha. Pahle, ye bta ki teri pasandida kurti kidhar hai?" He said with narrowed eyes.
(Ok. First, tell me where is your favourite kurti?)
"Wo.. wo.. sayd.." She thought about it, but she could not recall anything.
(Umm. Umm. May be )
"Vah cupboard ke fourth drawer me rakha hua hai... aayi badi pasandida mard dhudndhengi gahr main rakhi huyi cheeze milti hai. Pasandida mard milega," he said as he moved away from there to the dining table.
( It is kept in the fourth drawer of the cupboard... I will find my favourite man myself. Things kept in the house are not found. You will find your favourite man.)
"Papa...... Personal ho jaate ho, aap baat baat par. "I am just kidding, Yarr," she said, following them.
(Papa you get personal yarr)
"Han Han. I am aware. And you are aware that I have no objections to your love marriage. But, love is also required for this." He replied with a smirk.
"Papaaaa.." She spoke in her compulsive tone
"Okay, we have had enough conversation; let us eat quickly." He said further.
"Papa, How many times have I told you that if I get late, please have food?" she said a little angrily
"How many times have I told you that we never eat alone unless absolutely necessary? And I have my Gudiya; why should I eat alone?" He said this as he served food at the dining table.
Shreedha smiled sweetly at him, then washed her hands and face before sitting down to eat. They both started to eat.
"What a delicious meal you have prepared, Papa. Wow, you should have competed against Sanjeev Kapoor." She said praising him
""Gudiya Mene parantho main makhaan kam lagaya hai, tu bhi kam laga." He said while eating casually.
(Gudiya, I have put less butter in the paranthas, you also put less.)
"Are Papa Sachii Govind Ki Saugandh..." She places her right hand on her head and uses her left hand to pull the skin of her throat with her thumb and index finger.
"There are still two weeks until your period begins, so why are you experiencing mood swings now?" He said this while looking at the calendar on the wall in front of him.
"Papa..." she narrowed her eyes.
"Okay, fair enough. Now tell me what you want?" He asked her.
" Vo mujhe Sneha di ki shadi main jana hai Mumbai." She spoke with her soft gaze while biting her lips.
"No..." he said, banging his hand on the table, scaring her. It was clear from his eyes that he was upset with what she said.
" Papa please I really want to go. I always obeyed you. Please Papa, just agree with me on this." She took his hand in hers and coaxing him.
"Gudiya there is no use of going there, you know that Sneha does not treat you well. And your uncle and aunt also don't want us ." He said while explaining it to her
Papa that was past, who knows they might have changed now. Papa please."
She said holding his arms
"No. You will not go anywhere from here." He said this while ignoring what she said.
"But Papa. Why don't you ever let me go anywhere. Is there something you're not telling me? Tell me, Papa. Is..." He interrupted her before she could finish her sentence, and said
"No means no, Shreedha. There will be no further discussion on this subject." He becomes enraged and flees, abandoning half of the food.
Shreedha's eyes are filled with tears. She looks at the leftover food and says, "It is entirely my fault."
On the other hand, Aadarsh is staring out the window of his room with hardened eyes. Then his phone rings; seeing the number, something strikes his eye, and he picks up the phone and places it next to his ear.
" Captain Adarsh Singh Rathore, how are you doing?" A man's strong voice emerges from the other side. When he heard this, his eyes closed.
" Seems like that you have recognized me. After all, you are an experienced Navy captain." The man said this with a cunning laugh. His fists tighten immediately upon hearing this.
"Why did you call me?" He said this while chewing on his words.
"I am not going to lie. I called to discuss your daughter."
"Do not use your fucking mouth to take my daughter's name." He interrupted him while clinch his jaw
" Cool down cool down captain don't get offend. But You should be offended, after all your beloved daughter has turned 27. And she is a..." Having said this he starts laughing like a demon.
"I will not let anything happen to my daughter." Mr Rathor roared. And the phone had been disconnected from his end.He strikes his fist hard against the wall. In his mind, he hears the same man's voice repeatedly.
"Papa.." heard his beloved daughter's sweet voice in his ears. Hearing this makes him feel at ease. When he looks back, he sees her standing there, holding a tray with food.
"I am sorry, Papa. Now I will not insist." She spoke in a guilty tone, with remorse visible in her blue orbs . His face lights up with a gentle smile. He extends both of his arms, and she quickly sets the plate of food aside and embraces him.
" Papa, please don't take out my anger on food. I will definitely not be stubborn like this from now on." She said while sobbing and hugging him.
He kisses her on the forehead and nods yes. Shreedha makes him sit on the sofa nearby and feeds him with her hands. He was looking at his daughter, she was a glass doll, who could do anything for the happiness of others. But there was something about her that he didn't want to tell anyone about.
"We will go to Sneha's wedding." He looked at her lovingly and said
" No papa, if you don't want then we won't go." She said while feeding him.
"Nothing is more important to me than my daughter's happiness. If she wishes to go, we will definitely go." he said while cupping her. She nodded happily and hugged him.
Shreedha slept in her room at night. While sleeping, she appeared to be an innocent child. Then, someone in the shadow enters her room; she approaches it and blows away her blanket. Properly
"I will protect my Gudiya from the shadow of that dark world." He said this while kissing her head....
